Midwest Dance Expressions is a studio located at 110 S Main in the Caldwell Workspace. Owned and Operated by Desiree Schwartz also known as Miss Desi to her dance kiddos. Miss Desi has been involved in dance in some shape or form since she started student teaching at the Turning Pointe School of Dance during her sophomore year of high school. She then taught during her college years off and on. She excels in ballet, tap, and lyrical dance.
Midwest Dance Expressions offers classes to children 2 and up, and has developed a variety of classes to fit the skill and preferences of the kids and parents. These classes include Wiggles N Giggles a fast-paced class for ages 2 and under and their parent or guardian, during wiggles n giggles you will dance and sing to favorite nursery rhymes work on gross motor skills, and socialize. Combo (ages 3& up) is the first step in developing the proper technique and terms for ballet, jazz, and tap. Tumbling (ages 3 & up) is new this year and the students learn proper technique and fun tumbling skills.
All classes are scheduled on Monday nights and are $45.00 per month, Miss Desi does offer a discount for multiple classes and family enrollments.
Midwest Dance Expressions does not participate in competitive dance focusing instead on the art of dance without the stress of competition for the busy parent and child.
