After graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law, Lowell Dierking returned to his hometown of Caldwell and opened Dierking Law Offices in February 1966 at its current location at 8 South Main, Caldwell, Kansas. The building, once a bank, meat market, jewelry store, and bakery, has been a small country law office ever since. Lowell Dierking acted as a sole practitioner until his cousin Troy Dierking joined the firm after graduating from the University of Kansas School of Law in 1992, continuing the practice to this date. Upon Lowell’s death in 2013, Troy limited his court attendance and partnership with Doug Pfalzgraf in Pfalzgraf and Dierking Title Insurance Company of Wellington, Kansas to maintain regular business hours and focus on real estate, estate planning, probate, and general business law. Support staff includes Joyce Lowe on Wednesdays with security and human relations staffed by Wendy the English pointer. An active supporter of the Caldwell community Troy serves on various local boards and has been the City Attorney for Caldwell for over 25 years.
