USD 360
Excellence in Education
Caldwell Schools USD 360 is committed to personalized learning, academic excellence, and fostering a close-knit, supportive community where every student is known and valued. From early childhood through high school, students benefit from innovative programs, dedicated educators, and high expectations that consistently exceed state standards. Families are encouraged to explore our schools, connect with our teachers and staff, and experience firsthand the quality education that defines our district.

A highlight of the district is the brand new Caldwell Early Childhood Center, designed to give our youngest learners the strongest possible start. This modern facility offers a welcoming, age-appropriate environment focused on early literacy, social development, and hands-on learning. The center reflects the district’s commitment to investing in the future by supporting children and families from the very beginning.

Caldwell Schools USD 360 serves a 94-square-mile area in southwestern Sumner County, with all attendance centers conveniently located in Caldwell. The district is unique in that it does not operate traditional bus routes; instead, families are compensated for providing student transportation. Special education services are delivered through Sumner County Education Services Interlocal, District #619, ensuring comprehensive support for students with diverse learning needs. Low student-to-teacher ratios and access to the latest educational technology create an engaging and effective learning environment for all students.

Caldwell is also a proud member of the South Central Kansas Education Network, which expands learning opportunities through a two-way interactive fiber-optic system. This partnership allows students to access additional high school and college-level courses, preparing them for success beyond graduation while remaining rooted in their local community.
