About the Event
It is time once again to register for the Cherokee Strip Land Run!
Shirt design and medal design are being worked on, but they will once again be designed and made right here in Caldwell.
We will be leaving the half the same amazing route, looking at changing up the 15k a little bit, and hopefully giving the 5k runners an amazing new 100% dirt road route. So, be watching our FACEBOOK PAGE for the routes to be posted soon!
Our half marathon runs through what was "Indian Territory" in 1881 and all three races are cross country dirt/sand road races featuring some fantastic rural Kansas & Oklahoma countryside views. This area was opened up for the Cherokee Strip Land Run September 16, 1893, hence the entire reason for this run!
The red hills are still an amazing thing to see and run through. You will NOT be disappointed! Be sure to "like" our Facebook page as we will be posting teasers of the beautiful views throughout the next year.
Half Marathon, 15k, and 5k all start at 7:00am at the Stock Exchange Bank ATM.
Bib pick up will start at 6:00 am the morning of the race and your swag bags will be waiting for you at the finish line.
