The High School Choir started their trip to Dallas on Thursday, April 15. Josh and Stephanie (Reynolds) Stanfield hosted a hamburger cookout for the students complete with s'mores.
After a short night of sleep, they arrived in Texas around 10:00am Friday and toured the Ripley's Believe It or Not and the Wax Museum, lunched at Hard Rock Cafe, then toured the Sixth Floor Museum. That next morning the choir went to South Garland High School for their competition. They performed "Fill the Night with Singing" and "Didn't My Lord Deliver Daniel" before three judges. After that they went to Six Flags, where they had tons of experience and laughs. The choir received 1 "I" and 2 "II's" and a trophy for their performance.
